Her extensive knowledge of dental office operations, insurance coordination, and patient care allows her to help keep the office running efficiently while providing exceptional support to both patients and team members.
Lucy is passionate about helping patients understand their treatment plans, maximize their insurance benefits, and feel confident about their dental care decisions. She takes pride in building strong relationships with patients by providing clear communication, compassionate guidance, and personalized attention throughout their treatment journey.
Known for her friendly personality, attention to detail, and commitment to outstanding service, Lucy strives to create a welcoming environment where patients feel valued, informed, and cared for from the moment they contact our office.
Outside of work, Lucy is a devoted mother of three energetic, sports-loving boys who keep her busy cheering from the sidelines. In her free time, she enjoys reading, relaxing at the beach, and spending quality time with family and friends. Her caring nature, positive attitude, and dedication to helping others are reflected in every aspect of her work and personal life.
Shaz R., RDH
Patient Care Coordinator & Dental Hygienist
Shaz graduated from the Montgomery County Community College Dental Hygiene Program as part of the Class of 2024. Her role at Lively Smiles is unique, as she divides her time between providing dental hygiene care and assisting patients at the front desk, giving her the opportunity to connect with patients in many different ways. Shaz enjoys helping patients improve their oral health through education, prevention, and personalized care. She believes that a positive dental experience starts with listening, building trust, and making patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Whether she is cleaning teeth, discussing home care recommendations, or helping coordinate appointments, her goal is to ensure every patient feels welcomed and supported.
Having experience in both the clinical and administrative sides of dentistry allows Shaz to understand the patient experience from beginning to end. She takes pride in helping patients navigate their care while creating a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
Outside of the office, Shaz is a busy mother of three boys who keep life exciting and full of adventure. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active, and creating special memories with her children. Her energetic personality, compassionate nature, and dedication to patient care make her an integral part of the Lively Smiles team.
Tammy S., PHDHP, RDH, EFDA, CDA, M.Ed., B.S.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Tammy is a dedicated dental professional with more than 23 years of experience in the dental field. She earned her dental hygiene degree from Northampton Community College and continued her education at DeSales University, where she obtained a bachelor of science in forensic psychology and a master of education degree.
Throughout her career, Tammy has served in multiple roles, including as a dental assistant, certified dental assistant (CDA), expanded function dental assistant (EFDA), registered dental hygienist (RDH), and public health dental hygiene practitioner (PHDHP). Her diverse clinical background provides her with a comprehensive understanding of patient care and oral health. Tammy has also shared her expertise as an adjunct dental hygiene professor at Montgomery County Community College and the Community College of Philadelphia, helping to educate and mentor future dental professionals.
Having worked closely with a periodontist for several years, Tammy has developed extensive knowledge of periodontal disease and remains committed to staying current with emerging periodontal therapies and advancements in dental care. She is passionate about educating patients on the connection between oral health and overall wellness while creating a comfortable, welcoming experience during every appointment.
Outside of the office, Tammy enjoys golfing, horseback riding with her horses, Rock and Avery, weight training, and spending time with her husband, Brian. She also loves watching sports and relaxing with their two spoiled Siamese cats, Clifford and Noah.
Kristen K.
Dental Assistant
Kristen began her dental career after completing her dental assisting program and radiology certification at Smile Systems School of Dental Assisting. With over six years of experience in dentistry, she has developed a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits.
One of Kristen’s favorite parts of her role is building relationships with patients and helping ease any anxiety they may have about dental treatment. Her calm demeanor, compassionate approach, and genuine kindness help create a positive experience for patients of all ages. She believes that a warm smile and a friendly conversation can make a meaningful difference in someone’s day.
As a dedicated member of our clinical team, Kristen enjoys working alongside her colleagues to provide high-quality care and ensure every patient feels welcomed and supported throughout their appointment.
When she’s not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending country music concerts, and making memories with her new puppy. She is also excitedly planning her upcoming wedding and looking forward to all the adventures that lie ahead.
